GUILD of SERVANTS of the SANCTUARY

The Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary ( Server's Guild or G.S.S.for short)
is a world-wide brotherhood of altar servers of the Church of England and
it's opposite numbers overseas ( which together form the "Anglican Communion)
and the S. John Baptist Chapter draws its membership from churches in and around the Torbay area.

The Guild meeting for May will be held at St John's, it will be a Sung Mass,
and two Probationers will be enrolled as Full members. Kristopher Kerr,
server at St John's, and Alexander Cook, server at St Marychurch, the
youngest member of the guild, at 10, in the whole of the UK, I have been told.

I have been looking through some back numbers of the Server, the Quarterly Magazine
of the Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary, and I came across the following cartoon.
Before I could use it I had to get in touch wich the Editor of the Church Times,
for permission to use it, this he gave, as long as I give the usual acknowledgements,
which I will under the cartoon.
